Il se donnait dans une ancienne base militaire. Outre les habituels marchands de pneus, jantes, sono, hifi, il y avait aussi les produits de nettoyage, les modèles réduits et les vetements et les pièces détachées (pots d’échappement, pièces de carrosserie, phares, amortisseurs,…).
Près de 250 voitures ont été exposées pendant 2 jours avec différents niveaux de finition: certaines étaient des “rats” pleines derouille mais beaucoup d’autres étaient de petites oeuvres d’art faites par des passionnés qui n’hésitent pas à repeindre leur voiture plusieurs fois, et avec des peintures non répertoriées. Ce qui fait que leur voiture est unique. La tendance au nord du pays est à la Golf , Opel et BMW .
Beaucoup d’hollandais n’ont pas hésité à franchir la frontière pour montrer leur voiture.

La journée de dimanche s’est terminée par une spectacle sexy dansé par des car-wash girl, qui ont enflammé un temps grisatre.

This Saturday and Sunday 24 and 25 July took place the tuning of Genk in an old military base. Besides the usual tire dealers, wheels, sound, stereo, there was also cleaning products, models and clothing and spare parts (exhaust, body parts, lights, shocks ,…) .
Nearly 250 cars were on display during two days with different trim levels: some were “rats” full removes rust but many others were small masterpiece made by fans who do not hesitate to paint their car several time, and with paintings not listed. What makes their car is unique. The trend in the north is the Golf, BMW and Opel.
Many of Holland have not hesitated to cross the border to show their cars.

Sunday ended with a sexy show performed by car wash girls, who ignited a greyish weather.

J’espère que les agents qui les pilotent, les maîtrisent bien. I hope that the officers at the wheel master them well. If you have them on your tail, don’t try to escape them… except maybe the last one.

Sous un ciel couvert, mais  sec, nous avons pu célébrer le 100è anniversaire d’Alfa Roméo, avec plus de 200 voitures sur le circuit et 2000 voitures exposées par les passionnés.  Certains d’entre elles étaient des bijoux d’une grande valeur.

This Saturday and Sunday was Spa Italia 2010. Under an overcast but dry sky, we were able to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo, with over 200 cars on the track and 2000 cars exposed by enthusiasts. Some of them were jewels of great value.

You will find pictures in the “Photos” section and 4 videos on youtube. And a little surprise: a video showing the revolution counter of a Ferrari’s engine: wild!

Il existe une fédération de sports automobiles en Palestine. Et il existe aussi un club pour les femmes conducteurs, aussi étonnant que ça puisse paraître. Parmi elles, il y a Suna Aweidah, mieux connue comme “Malika Sibaaq Al-Sayyarat” (la Reine des Course de Voitures). “C’est important de montrer aux hommes que nous sommes capables de faire tout ce que nous aimons”. Yo!

Palestine has its own motor sports federation and – surprising though it ma seem – its women drivers. These include Suna Aweidah, better known as “Malika Sibaaq Al-Sayyarat (the Queen of Car Racers). Firstly, I race cars because I enjoy driving, and I simply love racing; I love the speed,” she says, “But I also think it’s important to show the strength of Palestinian women; to let men know that we are just as capable to do anything we’d like.”

Il y avait de tout, des démonstrations de drifts en voiture, sur sol mouillé, des acrobaties en moto, des 400 mètres départ arrêté sur la piste de Zolder, et près de 3 kilomètres de voitures exposées, le tout sous un superbe soleil dans un ciel bleu azur.
